JAKARTA - PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (PT KTB), the official distributor of commercial vehicles from Mitsubishi Fuso Truck & Bus Corporation (MFTBC), has its own way of improving the quality of education in the country.

One of them is by donating a Mitsubishi Fuso Fighter unit as a practice vehicle to SMK Negeri 3 Ambon, Maluku. This handover was carried out symbolically with several high-ranking company officials.

The President Director of PT KTB, Daisuke Okamoto, said that this donation was a form of real contribution from KTB to help improve the quality of education.

"Because we believe that education is the key to producing quality human resources which will become the main motor of the industrial pace in Indonesia in the future. This is in line with the mission of KTB companies, namely to grow together with consumers and the Indonesian people towards a better life," he said, in an official statement received, Friday, December 12.

Donations to SMK Negeri 3 Ambon are the third donation in a series of truck donations run by PT KTB during the 2025 fiscal year. Previously, the submission of practical vehicle donations had been carried out on October 31, 2025 at SMK PGRI 2 Badung, Bali.

This donation is one of the company's social responsibility activities from PT KTB which is carried out under the annual program, namely the KTB FUSO Vocal Education Program (KTB FUSO VEP).

The program, which has been going on since 2017, is carried out in several forms of activities, including certified automotive training for teachers and vocational students, donations of educational supporting equipment, and soft skills seminars to prepare students before entering the industrial world.

Director of the Administration & HR Division of PT KTB, Prasetio Hartono, said the company felt the need to actively contribute to equitable access to knowledge related to the latest automotive technology to various parts of Indonesia.

"Therefore, KTB wants to spread the positive impact of KTB FUSO VEP as wide as possible to several beneficiaries in the central and eastern regions of Indonesia as a new achievement point in the 55-year momentum of the existence of KTB," said Prasetio.
