JAKARTA - The accident due to negligence while driving again occurred, and this time it was carried out by a driver of a free nutritious food delivery car (MBG) with the initials AI. The driver hit dozens of students at SDN 01 Kalibaru, Cilincing, North Jakarta, Thursday 11 December.

As conveyed by the Cilincing Police Chief AKB Bobi Subasri, AI is a substitute driver or backup driver. Because the main driver of the MBG delivery driver is sick.

At the time of the incident, AI and a kernet with the initials MRR. In his confession, AI admitted that the car brakes were not standard and he also stepped on the pedal wrongly, causing the vehicle to go so fast and hit many students in the school yard.

"So the statement from the driver was that the school was above, incline, so he happened to want to deliver the food to school. He wanted to go up to the top, wanted to brake (brake), he said the brakes were not standard. Because he was afraid to crash, he was an injector, now I think it was (which was stepped on the brakes), it turned out that the gas was gas. Learning from this incident, Sony Susmana's Training Director Safety Defensive Consultant Indonesia (SDCI), said that there were two reasons for the wrong step on the pedal. In addition, drivers are also required to make adjustments before driving.

"The wrong step on the gas pedal can occur due to two things, namely being incompetent, aka novice drivers and both not focusing on driving. Obviously, all manual cars have the three pedals and the most different pedals are gas pedals, one of which is so that drivers can distinguish between acceleration and deseleration," said Sony Susmana to VOI, Friday, December 12.

"From here, it is important for drivers to learn to make orientation or adjustment first, the slower the vehicle moves, the easier it is to carry out operations. Second, make it easier to ride the heel of the right leg in front of the brake pedal, so if you have to brake the reflectance on the brake pedal is more perfect. It's different if the opposite," he explained.
