JAKARTA - Change Automobile is not a new name in the automotive world but has recently developed so rapidly. Changan is now making new achievements by launching the 30 millionth vehicle out of the production line, after four years of reaching the milestone of 20 million units.

Quoting from the CNevpost page, Wednesday, December 10, the 30 millionth Changan vehicle is Avatr 12 4-LiDAR Edition from the company's Avatr sub-brand, which was launched on October 28, 2025.

Seeing Changan's success, the company took 30 years to reach its first 10 million vehicle sales milestone and seven additional years to reach its 20 million sales milestone.

Currently, Changan is in partnership with 1,461 suppliers and operates 11,632 sales channels. This automaker is also expanding its business scope, with plans to mass-produce humanoid robots by 2028 and launch commercial air taxi services by 2030.

Changan sold 284,197 vehicles in November, including 243,638 units under its own brand. In November, the company sold 126,167 new energy vehicles (NEVs), bringing total sales from January to November to 994,891 units.

"The sale of Changan electric vehicles will exceed 1 million units by 2025," said Changan CEO Zhu Huarong.

Currently, the automaker operates three NEV Avatr, Deepal, and Nevo brands.

Changan Expansion In Southeast Asia

Changan is currently also present in Indonesia with his first two models, namely Deepal S07 and Lumin which are marketed at the GJAW 2025 exhibition.
