DFSK Strengthens Electric Vehicle Ecosystems Through Financing Cooperation With Pegadaian

JAKARTA - PT Sokoindo Automobile as the holder of the DFSK and Seres brands in Indonesia is collaborating with PT Pegadaian, which is marked by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The above is a strategic step to expand access to financing for consumers who want to buy DFSK and Seres vehicles, including the recently introduced variant of light commercial electric vehicles, DFSK Gelora E (B-Type).

This signing also makes PT Sokoindo Automobile the first four-wheeled automotive company to collaborate in vehicle financing with Pegadaian. This collaboration is expected to strengthen the electric and conventional vehicle ecosystem in Indonesia by providing flexible and competitive financing options, making it easier for consumers, business actors, and MSMEs to adopt an efficient, modern, vehicle fleet with renewable energy.

Director of Sales Center of PT Sokoindo Automobile, Cing Hok Rimin, said this signing was an important step in strengthening the company's commitment to supporting electrification and business growth in Indonesia.

"In addition, we are proud to be the first automotive company to cooperate with Pegadaian in vehicle financing, a collaboration that we believe will further open market access for DFSK and Seres vehicles," he told reporters at the GJAW 2025 exhibition, Wednesday, November 26.

Through this collaboration, Pegadaian will offer sharia-based financing programs for the purchase of DFSK and Seres vehicles. Consumers will get a number of benefits, ranging from a faster approval process, various tenor options, to financing schemes that adjust individual needs to operating various business scales.

Senior Vice President of PT Pegadaian Syariah, Holirur Rohman, explained that this collaboration with DFSK and Seres is Pegadaian's strategic step to expand financial inclusion into mobility inclusion for the Indonesian people.

"With a network of 4,892 Pegadaian outlets spread widely, we ensure that people, both in big cities and regions, can now access dream vehicles and quality business support vehicles from DFSK and Seres through an easy and trusted financing scheme from Pegadaian," said Holirur.
