JAKARTA - XPeng, one of China's electric vehicle giants (EV), today announced the achievement marking a remarkable spike in their manufacturing scale.
At the opening of Auto Guangzhou 2025 (21 November), the company officially produced their 1 millionth vehicle.
XPeng CEO, He Xiaopeng, highlighted the massive acceleration the company achieved. To build the first 500,000 cars, XPeng takes 82 months. However, to reach the next 1 million (half a million units), they only need 14 months!
The car that was lined up as the 1 millionth historic unit was XPeng X9 EREV, which was just launched the night before.
