This Is The Leak Of The Car That Will Launch Tomorrow At GJAW 2025, Is There A Hybrid Veloz?

JAKARTA - The 2025 Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW) Exhibition will take place starting tomorrow, Friday, November 21, at ICE BSD, Tangerang. GJAW is a place for several manufacturers to launch their newest products

With more than 80 participating brands, this exhibition opens up opportunities for consumers to see hybrid car innovation, BEV (battery electric vehicle), and the debut of a new brand from China. One of the highlights is that Toyota will make its global debut in one of its cars.

In the invitation to the VOI editorial team, it was stated that the car was using a hybrid engine. Toyota calls it a Hybrid EV for all, predicted the car is a Toyota Veloz hybrid, which is produced and developed locally.

The NJKB code, which is suspected to be a Toyota Veloz Hybrid, has also been listed in Permendagri Number 8 of 2024 concerning the Basis for the Imposition of Motor Vehicle Taxes, Motor Vehicle Transfer Fees and Heavy Equipment Taxes in 2024.

In addition, Toyota is also likely to start selling locally assembled bZ4X electric cars, which were previously imported in full from Japan. GJAW 2025 is also the debut for a new brand from China, Changan, to sell its car.

Changan will present its inaugural cars, namely Deepal 207 and Lumin EV. Deepal S07 is an electric car of the 5-seater SUV that is designed in techno-sporty, while Lumin is a tiny electric car.

The Sub brand Chery Group, Lepas, will start pre-booking for their hybrid SUV, Release L8. The car targets the youth market by bringing bright colors to its car.

Chery itself is rumored to be introducing a new hybrid model, most likely Tiggo 9 CSH. The Chinese manufacturer will also announce the official price of the recently launched Chery J6T.

Then, Jaecoo prepared a new product to be introduced in this event which lasted until November 31. The leak, a new product candidate for Jaecool which will be introduced in GJAW 2025 is the New Energy Vehicle (NEV) model.
