Ford Opens Pre-sales Of Electric Broco In China, Take A Peek At The Specifications

JAKARTA - Ford has officially started pre-sales for China's electric Bronco model for the local market, marking the push for American automakers in the world's largest electric vehicle (EV) market.

Quoting from the CNevpost page, Wednesday, November 19, this off-road SUV was pioneered from two joint ventures with Changan and Jiangling. So what are the details?

Ford Bronco listrik offers three EV variants in pre-sales, each at a price of 229,800 yuan or around Rp540 million, while the BEV variant hits 259,800 yuan or Rp610 million.

In dimensions, this vehicle has a length of 5,025 mm, a width of 1,960 mm, and a height of 1,825 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,950 mm.

In detail, the BEV version uses a front motorbike with a maximum power of 130 kW and a rear motor that produces 202 kW. They display a 105.4 kWh battery pack, reaching a CLTC reach of 650 km.

Meanwhile, the EREV version features a turbocharged 1.5L engine as a range expander, giving a maximum power of 110 kW. It uses a double motorbike with a front motor peak at 130 kW, while the rear motor reaches 180 kW.

The EREV variant carries a 43.7 kWh battery pack, providing a 220 km CLTC battery range. With the full tank and the battery fully charged, the combined range reaches 1,220 km.

Later, after officially launching the electric Ford Bronco, they will compete in China's offroad SUV market against models including the GWM Tank 300 Hi4-T, Tank 400 Hi4-T, and BYD Fang Cheng Bao 5.
