GIIAS The Series Officially Ends, Recording Half A Million Visitors In Five Cities

JAKARTA - The series of exhibitions for the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) The Series 2025 finally officially ended in Makassar, with results that were claimed to be quite proud.

GAIKINDO General Chair Putu Juli said that this year's GIIAS Makassar received a warm welcome from the community who enthusiastically saw the progress of the national motor vehicle industry firsthand.

"GIIAS Makassar 2025 comes bigger and more complete. The high enthusiasm of the people of South Sulawesi shows great curiosity about the latest models and technologies from the Indonesian automotive industry, as well as the desire to get direct education and experience from Brand Holder Agents," Putu said, in an official statement received, Tuesday, November 11.

According to him, the enthusiasm of visitors who come also reflects the results achieved during the exhibition, so that they can contribute directly to the achievements of the motor vehicle industry by 2025.

"The series of GIIAS exhibition series in various regions aim to encourage the achievements of the national motor vehicle industry, as well as be part of GAIKINDO's efforts to achieve the target of selling vehicles by 2025," he said.

The closing of GIIAS Makassar 2025 marks the end of the GIIAS Series 2025 series. Overall, the implementation of GIIAS this year recorded more than half a million visitors. The 32nd GIIAS 2025 exhibition at BSD-City, Tangerang Regency recorded the presence of 485,569 visitors, followed by GIIAS Surabaya with 31,870 visitors, GIIAS Semarang with 28,308 visitors, GIIAS Bandung with 24,988 visitors, and GIIAS Makassar with a total of more than 18,000 visitors.

"We are very grateful, in the midst of the various challenges faced by the motor vehicle industry this year, the entire series of GIIAS The Series can be held successfully and provide positive results. This achievement is a motivation for GAIKINDO to continue to present more innovative automotive exhibitions and contribute to the progress of the national motor vehicle industry," said the Daily Chair and Chair of the GAIKINDO Exhibition and Conference Organizer Anton Kumonty.

In addition to the GIIAS series The Series, GAIKINDO will still present another automotive exhibition at the end of the year, namely Permata Bank GAIKINDO Jakarta Auto Week (Permata Bank GJAW) 2025 which aims to encourage vehicle sales by the end of the year.

The exhibition, which took place on November 21-30, 2025 at ICE BSD, Tangerang Regency, is expected to provide opportunities for the public to obtain various attractive promos and strengthen the contribution of the automotive industry to national economic growth.
