JAKARTA The electric car manufacturer from China, XPeng, officially marks an important achievement with the production of the 200,000th unit for the MONA M03 model. This electric sedan has been one of XPeng's best-selling products since its launch in August 2024.

Reporting from CNEVpost, Thursday, October 30, MONA M03 has also been the backbone of the company's sales in the affordable electric vehicle segment. In its official announcement, X Peng said that MONA M03 managed to reach the production figure of the 200,000 units in just about 14 months.

This achievement shows the high enthusiasm of consumers for this aerodynamic and efficient design electric car. MONA M03 is known as a class A electric sedan that occupies the top position in its segment thanks to a combination of competitive prices, energy efficiency, and smart technology.

MONA M03 was first introduced on August 27, 2024, at prices ranging from RMB 119,800 or around Rp280 million. The model is designed for the mass market, bringing the philosophy of smart electric cars to everyone with typical XPeng technology that was previously only available on premium models.

In specifications, MONA M03 has a length of 4,780 mm, a width of 1,896 mm, and a height of 1,445 mm with a wheelbase of 2,815 mm. The weight ranges from 1,661 to 1,739 kilograms depending on the variant.

This car uses a single electric motor with a power of 140 to 160 kW, equivalent to 190 to 218 PS. Acceleration of 0100 km/hour can be achieved within about 7.4 to 7.8 seconds, depending on the battery variant.

The batteries used are LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) with two capacity options, namely 51.8 kWh and 62.2 kWh. For the distance, the small battery variant is capable of traveling up to 515 kilometers, while the large version reaches up to 620 kilometers according to CLTC test standards.

One of the aerodynamic advantages is that the air drag coefficient is only 0.194, making it one of the lowest in its class. The MONA M03 interior is also designed modern with a 15.6-inch central screen, Snapdragon 855 Qualcomm chip, and an infotainment system with 16GB RAM.

The highest variant features semi-autonomous features and advanced driving assistance systems developed by XPeng. In terms of sales, MONA M03 accounted for more than 40 percent of the total XPeng shipments in the January 'September 2025 period.

This success strengthens XPeng's position in the affordable electric vehicle market, as well as a foothold for global expansion. XPeng has started exporting MONA M03 to the Middle East and North Africa regions as the first export market.
