After J8 SHS Ardis, This Is A Leak Of A JAECOO Car That Will Be Launching In Indonesia

JAKARTA - The launch of J8 SHS Ardis is one of JAECOO's steps in Indonesia. This Chinese manufacturer has prepared other models to strengthen its product ranks.

JAECOO Indonesia's Head of Marketing, Mohamad Ilham Pratama, revealed that after J8 SHS Ardis, his party would immediately present a pure electric car.

"After this there is J5 EV, the first electric car from JAECOO that we officially brought. Yesterday prebooking was opened," he said when met on the sidelines of the launch of the J8 SHS Ardis price in Jakarta, Monday, September 29.

JAECOO J5 EV itself is offered in two variants. The Standard variant is priced at IDR 350 million, while the Premium variant is released at IDR 450 million (prebooking price). Orders have already been opened when GIIAS 2025.

JAECOO Indonesia Country Director, Max Zhou, emphasized that the J5 EV presence at GIIAS 2025 was an important moment for the company. Not only as the first step in the pure electric SUV segment, but also marking the presence of the most complete JAECOO product line in the Indonesian market.

Starting from the all-wheel drive (AWD) model, plug-in hybrid (PHEV), to the latest EV, our full presence at GIIAS 2025 shows JAECOO's long-term commitment in Indonesia. Our ambition is clear, to present a smarter, environmentally friendly, and resilient SUV for modern explorers," he said at ICE BSD, Tangerang some time ago.

Will there be another model after the J5 EV? Ilham has not disclosed in detail. However, it is widely reported that JAECOO is preparing V23, which was caught on camera several times during road tests. Even so, it is not certain whether it will launch this year.

What is clear is that the new JAECOO Indonesia breakthrough is worth the wait, especially in presenting innovations and excellent SUV options for Indonesian consumers.
