JAECOO's Sweet Debut J5 EV At GIIAS 2025, This Is What JAECOO Said

JAKARTA The presence of JAECOO J5 EV at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025 some time ago immediately stole the attention. This compact electric car has succeeded in becoming one of the exhibition stars, recording 150 Vehicle Ordering Letters (SPK) in just a matter of days.

"We got more than 150 SPKs during GIIAS yesterday," said Jaecool Indonesia Head of Sales Agustian Ferikles, on the sidelines of the inauguration of a new dealer in the Pluit area, Jakarta, recently.

This electric SUV comes in two variants, Standard and Premium, with pre-booking prices of IDR 350 million and IDR 450 million, respectively. Interestingly, even though the official price has not been announced, the Premium variant is actually the choice of the majority of consumers.

"Trim Premium is most in demand, while Standard is about 20 percent of the total order," added Agustian.

This result makes JAECOO even more confident that J5 EV will continue to receive a positive response in the Indonesian market. Modern designs, field cabins, and complete features are said to be the main attraction that consumers appreciate.
