GIIAS 2025 Automotive Exhibition Officially Opened: Future Automotive Innovation Stage At ICE BSD

TANGERANG The largest automotive exhibition in Indonesia, the 2025 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), officially opened today by the Indonesian Minister of Industry, Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD City, Tangerang.

Carrying the theme "Empowering the Future", GIIAS 2025 became a magnificent storefront featuring more than 60 brands. This includes 40 passenger vehicle brands, 4 commercial vehicle brands, 17 motorcycle brands, and 4 caroseri brands.

In his remarks, the Minister of Industry emphasized the importance of the automotive industry in driving economic growth and the transition to sustainable energy.

"The government is honored and proud of the existence of GIIAS. Hopefully this exhibition can be a point to restore people's shopping wishes, buy vehicles. And of course the government is honored because this is the largest automotive exhibition in the world after China," said the Minister of Industry.

The Minister of Industry also mentioned the achievement of GIIAS 2024 which proved to have contributed significantly to economic growth through the automotive industry.

"We can definitely use the achievement in 2024 as capital for the GIIAS foundation this year, which will again emphasize Indonesia's strategic role in the global automotive industry map," he said.

He also added that this time GIIAS not only displays the latest products and innovations, but is also a catalyst for strategic collaboration between the government, industry players, and international partners to strengthen Indonesia's position as a center for production and export of vehicles and exports in the growing global market.

"Let's make Indonesia a competitive production and export center for automotive production and export. Gaikindo has proven himself to be a strategic and reliable partner for the government in difficult times and good times when the market grows well," he said.

Ticket Prices And Parking Locations

Lasting until August 3, 2025, the show, which has been held since 1986, has entered its 32nd edition.

The GIIAS 2025 ticket consists of VIP Day GIIAS 2025 tickets (specifically on July 24) which can be purchased online through the Auto360 web at a price of IDR 250,000. Meanwhile, for direct purchases in exhibition areas (onsite), the price is IDR 300,000.

In addition, regular tickets can also be purchased online through the Auto360 website at a price of IDR 50,000 for weekdays (Monday 'Friday') and IDR 100,000 for weekends (Saturday'Sunday). Meanwhile, onsite tickets are also available at exhibition locations for IDR 75 thousand for weekdays and IDR 125 thousand for weekends.

Meanwhile, the parking area is supported by AEON Mall, The Breeze BSD, and the Modern Intermodal Market, with free shuttle bus services.
