JAKARTA - Jaecool Indonesia officially announced the price of the J8 ARDIS model and the pre-booking price of J8 SHS (Super Hybrid System) ARDIS, after being introduced last February at the IIMS 2025 event.
The price for J8 ARDIS touched IDR 689.9 million, while for J8 SHS the pre booking price was at IDR 850 million, and received several interesting benefits.
"Starting from studying the classic and off-road concepts, this car comes with qualified features and active suspensions," said Jaecool Indonesia Country Director Max Zhou at the launch in Jakarta, Monday, July 21.
On the same occasion, President Director of Chery Group Indonesia Zeng Shuo, said that J8 is a vehicle that has been adjusted to the needs of domestic consumers, both used in cities and off-roads.
"Jaeckoo is designed as a personalized vehicle for urban use. We have carried out various off-road tests around the world, creating Jaecool's off-road technology, namely ARDIS," said Zeng.

In dimensions, for Jaecool J8 ARDIS it has a length of 4,820 mm, a width of 1,930 mm, a height of 1,710 mm with a wheelbase of 2,820 mm. This car also comes with a 6-seater configuration which means it has obtained a captain seat.
Regarding the heart of the runway, this car is equipped with a 2,000 cc turbo AWD engine capable of generating up to 245 dk of power and 385 Nm of torque. Unfortunately, the specifications for the SHS version have not been announced, but they have arrived with the All Wheel Drive (AWD) and the All Road Drive Intelligent System (ARDIS).
"We use 4WD Dynamic Torque Vectoring as in Range Rover, there is an intelligence control to send specific torques to certain tires to deal with various road conditions," said Steve Eum, Vice President and General Manager of Chery Design China/Europe R&D.
