Already In China, This Is What Wuling Said About Bringing 7 Seaters Of Electric Cars To Indonesia

JAKARTA - The Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) market is quite promising, especially the electricity version. BYD has reaped success with the M6 model, even the car has also been used as a Golden Bird (Taxi) fleet and much more.

This success certainly opens up opportunities for manufacturers to present 7 seaters of electric cars. Wuling is one of the brands that actually has this model and has also been introduced in his home country of China, the model in question is Xingguang 730.

So is Wuling interested in going directly into the segment?

Responding to this, Marketing Operation Director of Wuling Motors Ricky Christian, revealed that basically the Indonesian market segment is very large at MPV.

"We know him 7 Seaters and it is true that globally we already have the platform for MPV products," he said, when met in Cikarang, West Java, some time ago.

He further said that he hoped (Wuling) could bring the platform to Indonesia as soon as possible. Thus, there is hope that the vehicle will be present in Indonesia.

Xingguang 730 Specifications

As reported by VOI, the car targets the family market and is interesting to be available in three powertrain options. Starting from BEV, ICE to PHEV, which are now increasingly in demand.

In design, the BEV variant adopts a closed front view while ICE and PHEV adopt a large V-shaped polygonal front goal. The black trim with the Wuling brand logo in the middle connects the headlights on both sides. In dimensions, the car has a length of 4,910 mm, a width of 1,850, a height of 1,770 mm, and a wheel axis distance of 2,910 mm.

The BEV is equipped with an electric motor that produces 100 kW or 134 hp of power, and is equipped with a lithium iron phosphate battery. This car is capable of producing the highest speed of 160 km/hour.
