Xpeng Makes Historical Milestones, Cumulative Delivery Touches 800 Thousand Vehicles

JAKARTA - Since it was officially formed in 2014 and the first model of G3, Xpeng, an automotive brand from China, has reached a new milestone with cumulative shipments of up to 800 thousand vehicles.

Quoting from the Carnewschina page, Saturday, July 12, until the end of 2023, Xpeng has exceeded vehicle shipments of 400,000 units with flagship models such as G7, Mona M03, 2025 X9, 2025 G6, 2025 G9, P7+, and P7i.

The Chinese brand has also managed to record an increase in sales, even monthly it has managed to deliver more than 30 thousand units. For example, in June Xpeng delivered 34,611 vehicles, ranking fourth among new energy vehicle startups in China, or an increase of 224 percent compared to the previous year.

In the first half of 2025, Xpeng delivered a total of 197,189 vehicles, surpassing its full-year delivery volume in 2024 which reached 190,068 vehicles.

In 2025 alone, Xpeng has an annual sales target of 380,000 vehicles. In addition, it is also budgeting to enter 60 countries by the end of 2025, including the establishment of more than 300 overseas dealer networks for full-sale services.

Xpeng In Indonesia

Xpeng became a new player in Indonesia with two models at once, namely the MPV Premium X9 and the G6 SUV. This brand comes with Erajaya Active Lifestyle (Eral) as a Brand Holder Agent (APM). Xpeng will play in the premium segment, by offering an SUV and electric MPV model.

Not only presenting electric cars, Xpeng also started assembling its first electric car locally at the PT Handal Indonesia Motor (HIM) facility, Purwakarta, West Java.

This inauguration is an important milestone. The reason is, for the first time Xpeng, an automotive brand from China, produces electric vehicles abroad, and Indonesia was chosen as its first international market.

The production facility is scheduled to fully operate in July 2025, and will produce the Xpeng X9 model Completely Knock Down (CKD), covering the entire manufacturing process to final quality testing.
