JAKARTA - Prestige Aviation inaugurated a trial for EHang 216-S flying mobility which took place at Phantom Ground Park Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) 2, Tangerang, Banten today.
The vehicle is an innovation of the Autonomous Aerial Vehicle (AAV) which has been developed and implemented in various countries.
Chairman of Prestige Aviation, Rudy Salim said the EHang 216-S will be a future mobility solution in Indonesia to reduce the level of urban traffic density.
"This autonomous air vehicle is not only mobility without pilots, but also describes future mobility in Indonesia," said Rudy Salim in his remarks in Tangerang, Banten, Wednesday, June 25.
The unique thing in the EHang 216-S is that the vehicle is powered by pure electricity, so that it can contribute to a greener ecosystem in the future.
"EHang EH216-S is powered by pure electricity, so it does not only facilitate mobility but is also environmentally friendly," added Rudy.

This flying vehicle has also obtained a flight test permit with passengers from the Directorate of Airworthiness and Aircraft Operations (DKPPU), which is one of the directorates under the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub).
