Hyundai Motor has officially become a partner of the football competition held by the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) entitled "ASEAN Hyundai Cup" in the Southeast Asia region.

The South Korean manufacturer is trusted by the Southeast Asian football federation because it has proven to be a global leader in smart mobility.

President of Hyundai Motor Asia Pacific, Mr. Sunny Kim said the partnership is clear evidence for the company in supporting the sustainability of global-scale sports.

"For Hyundai, football is not just a sport, but a forum that unites and empowers the community. With a global partnership experience of more than 26 years, we see the ASEAN region has a fast-growing spirit of football," Sunny Kim said in his remarks in Cikarang, West Java, Monday, May 26.

He added that Hyundai's support in this competition is also in line with the values that have been built, namely education, inclusion, and sustainable growth.

"This sponsorship support is in line with our vision, namely 'Progress for Humanity' by supporting sustainable education, inclusion and growth," he added.

Support for sponsorship for football has been a major element in Hyundai's brand and sports marketing strategy since 1999 through its partnership with FIFA, which later developed into the official sponsor of CONMEBOL Libertadores in Latin America.

On the same occasion, the manufacturer bearing the "H" lopsided logo also introduced the "Move The Game" program as part of the sponsorship and the "Hyundai Kids Mobile Library" which is expected to have a social impact on future generations.

"We are also proud to introduce the 'Move the Game' program which reflects our commitment to empowering the drivers of everyday changes and shaping the future of mobility. In addition to autonovation, we seek to create social impacts through various initiatives such as the Hyundai Kids Mobile Library, an EV bus that is transformed into a learning space for children, combining education with learning opportunities," concluded Sunny Kim.
