PEVS 2025 Lasts April 29 To May 4, This Is An Important Factor To Know

JAKARTA - This year's grand Periclindo Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS) will be back on April 29 to May 4, 2025.

Located at JIExpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, this exhibition was held by the results of a collaboration between the Indonesian Electric Vehicle Industry Association (PERIKLINDO) and Dyandra Promosindo as an important milestone in the development of the automotive industry in Indonesia, with a main focus on sustainable electric vehicles.

Chairman of PERIKLINDO, Moeldoko said, collaboration plays an important role in encouraging the acceleration of electric vehicles in Indonesia. This exhibition is also expected to be the best platform to increase the activity of the electric vehicle industry in Indonesia. Moreover, the government provides full support for the adoption of electric vehicles, this is illustrated through fiscal and non-fiscal policies that have been issued.

"From the challenges, I don't think there are any obstacles, but there are opportunities there. Because the market is very large in Indonesia, then the government also provides access and convenience so I think all of this is very supportive of investment," he said, during the 2025 PEVS Media Gathering, in Senayan Area, Jakarta, Wednesday, March 19.

As is known, the Indonesian government is getting serious about promoting the adoption of electric vehicles with various policies. The government itself has issued a 10 percent Government-Borrowed Value Added Tax (PPN DTP) discount policy, which allows consumers to only pay VAT of 2 percent of the purchase price of electric vehicles. Not only in terms of fiscal incentives, but the government is also actively developing supporting infrastructure, including expanding the network of Public Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (SPKLU) in various strategic areas.

Meanwhile, on the same occasion, President Director Dyandra Promosindo Daswar Marpaung said the dynamics of electric vehicles in Indonesia continued to show a positive trend. In order to maintain this positive momentum, PEVS 2025 is here to be a barometer for the development of the electric vehicle industry by not forgetting to pay attention to environmental sustainability.

Transaction Targets And Visitors

This year, PEVS in collaboration with ABJ is targeting a transaction figure of IDR 400 billion with 40,000 visitors. Daswar said he was optimistic that this target could be achieved in line with the increasing public interest in electric vehicles in Indonesia.

"With various good news from the development of Indonesian electric vehicles, Dyandra Promosindo sees the era of electric vehicles in Indonesia increasingly moving in a positive direction. So through the 2025 PEVS exhibition, we hope to be a barometer of the development of the electric vehicle industry in Indonesia and encourage the acceleration of electric vehicle adoption in order to achieve Net Zero Emission," said Daswar.

PEVS 2025 Program

PEVS Project Manager Rudi MF, said this year's PEVS still presents a row of well-known two-wheeled to four-wheeled automotive brands. In addition, various business matching programs ranging from B2B, B2G to B2C, to a row of attractive promos are ready to be given to the people of Indonesia.

Some of the programs that are certain to attend are the Opening Ceremony, EV Test Drive, EV Test Ride, Pushbike, Electric Board and Scooter Ride, EV Riding, Buyers EVening Gathering, EV PARADE and Catwalk, Miss PEVS, EV Track Zone, EV Morning Run, to Closing Ceremony.

This year, PEVS is also collaborating with Asiabike Jakarta (ABJ) to jointly support the transition to electric vehicles by uniting a global, regional and local industrial network.

"PEVS 2025 will be a more innovative and interactive event, providing the best experience for visitors and industry players. With the full support of various strategic partners, we have prepared various excellent programs, including a wider test drive and test ride area," said Rudi.
