Honda Accord Wins This Prestigious Award In The United States

JAKARTA - Honda's car model, namely Accord, won the prestigious award as the best sedan in the United States from the US News and the World Report.Honda Accord Hybrid (e:HEV) managed to become the best hybrid technology midsized category car, while Honda Accord is the best mid size category car. This award marks the fourth time Honda Accord has been named the 'Best Midsize Car' and the second award for Honda Accord Hybrid (e:HEV) 'Best Midsize Hybrid Car' where the 11th generation of Honda Accord represents more than 50 percent of Honda sales in the United States. Both Honda Accord has turbo engines and hybrid offers the best luggage and cabin space in its class, then a good fuel efficiency, as well as a complete safety technology feature for its users," said the Autos Implementing Editor for the US News & World Report Alex Kwanten, in his official statement received, Thursday, March 13.

The annual Best Cars for Families award event from the US News & World Report awards the sedans, SUVs, and minivans that offer the best combinations between safety features, reliability (performance), cabin space, comfort, convenience, and connectivity in class.

The assessment method combines the overall scores of each advantage of the car from these coverages to determine the best cars for the family.

As is known, the 11th generation of Honda Accord in Indonesia comes with a hybrid engine (e: HEV) where the performance of electric motors on machines works more dominantly, making fuel consumption very efficient.

The latest generation Honda Accord is also equipped with advanced connectivity technology (Honda CONNECT), advanced safety technology (Honda SENSING), sporty design (RS) and premium interior design.
