Jaecool Wins Two Awards At IIMS 2025, Evidence Of High Enthusiasm In The Indonesian Market

JAKARTA Jaecoo, a premium SUV brand from China, recorded a great success at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025 which ended on February 23. His first debut at this prestigious automotive event immediately produced sweet results with the achievement of two main awards.

Jaecool J7 won the Favorite Hybrid SUV title, while the electric model Jaecool J5 EV was named Favorite World Premiere Launch. This achievement further reinforces Jaecool's appeal in the premium Indonesian SUV segment.

Not only bringing awards, Jaecool's presence at IIMS 2025 also received extraordinary receptions. A total of 13,059 visitors were recorded as visiting Jaecool booths, with an average of 433 visitors per day. One of the main attractions is Jaecool J7 SHS, a hybrid SUV that combines fuel efficiency with high performance.

The enthusiasm of visitors is also reflected in the test drive session which reached 496 times throughout the exhibition. This shows the high interest of consumers to experience firsthand the premium design and advanced technology offered by Jaecoo.

JAECOO Indonesia Country Director, Max, expressed his satisfaction with the positive response from the Indonesian market.

"The enthusiasm we witnessed at IIMS 2025 further strengthens our commitment to continue to grow and innovate, presenting high-quality vehicles that redefine the premium SUV experience," Max said in his official statement, Tuesday, March 4.

On the other hand, Jaecool Indonesia's Head of Marketing, Evan Anganantika, revealed that Jaecool J7 has pocketed more than 300 Vehicle Ordering Letters (SPK).

"More than 300 units have been ordered, and 70 percent of them are SHS variants," said Evan in Surabaya some time ago.

Looking forward, Jaecoo is getting serious about working on the Indonesian market. This brand plans to launch six new models throughout 2025 and build 33 dealer networks in various regions to strengthen its presence.
