JAKARTA - Geely Auto Indonesia took part in the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025 by introducing EX5 as a marker of the brand's return to the country's market.

The automotive manufacturer from China announced the price of a compact SUV worth IDR 475 million for the Pro variant and IDR 515 million for the Max type. However, Geely offered a special price offer for IIMS 2025 with a tag of IDR 465 million Pro and IDR 505 million for the Max variant.

Geely claims the car has received a positive response since its launch last January.

Geely Auto Indonesia Brand Director Yusuf Anshori said that currently the manufacturer has pocketed three-digit Vehicle Ordering Letters (SPK) during IIMS 2025.

"For now, the SPK has been collected in hundreds and we will announce the exact figure after IIMS," said Anshori when met by the media at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, Friday, February 21.

Unfortunately, this manufacturer from China does not want to reveal the exact figures and targets for this year's IIMS event.

"We have an internal target but we can't tell it yet," explained Anshori.

Anshori also said that his party has a target to send EX5 units to customers starting next March in order to pursue Eid and homecoming moments.

"We hope to send the unit this March. So, customers can use it for homecoming," Anshori added.

Geely EX5 is equipped with a front-wheeled electric motor that has a power of up to 160 kWh and a torque of up to 320 Nm. With this force, this car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hour within 6.9 seconds for the Pro variant and 7.1 seconds for Max type.

Meanwhile, EX5 has a 60.22 kWh capacity battery that can provide a distance of up to 495 km on Pro and 490 km for the Max variant.
