Launching In The Middle Of This Year, Xiaomi YU7 Specifications Revealed

JAKARTA - Xiaomi has been successful with its first electric car and plans to launch a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) with the name YU7 in mid-2025.

Quoting from the Carnewschina page, Monday, February 3, ahead of the launch of the second car from Xiaomi, China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) revealed the specifications of the SUV.

It is revealed that this car will come with two variant options, starting from RWD and AWD. For the details of the AWD version, it will have the maximum power of the front and rear electric motors of 295 hp and 386 hp, each combined with lithium batteries.

There are also three SUVs that will be strong challengers for this Tesla Model Y. There are three kilometers, ranging from 750 km, 760 km, and 670 km in CLTC counts, and with the highest speed of up to 240 km/hour.

Currently, the RWD version has not been disclosed, but it is estimated that it will come with a maximum power of 315 hp electric motors, which are combined with the same battery.

In dimensions, this car has a body size of 4,999 mm long, a width of 1,996 mm, a height of 1,600 mm, and a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. When referring to some of the photos shared, it is estimated that Xiaomi will launch several variants ranging from Pro to Max.

In addition, the roof lidar shows that YU7 will continue to be equipped with an assisted steering system developed by Xiaomi itself. That way, this car will come with the help of the front driver.
