Honda's Sales in Indonesia Throughout 2024 Reached 103,023 Units, Brio is Still a Dream

JAKARTA - PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) recorded a brilliant sales of 103,023 units of vehicles throughout 2024. This achievement confirmed Honda's position as the third best-selling brand in the Indonesian four-wheeled market, amid the challenge of decreasing the automotive market.

Sales & Marketing & After Sales Director of PT HPM, Yusak Billy, revealed that despite facing market pressure, his party managed to maintain a market share that is almost equivalent to last year. "We are grateful for the consumer trust that allows us to maintain our position in the automotive market," he said in an official statement on Thursday, January 16.

Sales data shows Honda Brio is the backbone of HPM in 2024. This city car sold 53,913 units in retail, making a large contribution of 52.3% of Honda's total sales.

Not only that, the Honda SUV segment also recorded brilliant results. Honda HR-V and Honda WR-V sold 17,865 units and 13,820 units each, making it the best-selling SUV model in their class. Other SUV models, such as Honda BR-V, managed to sell 11,098 units, while All New Honda CR-V posted sales of 3,138 units.

In the sedan segment, Honda Civic leads with sales of 797 units, while other models account for a total of 2,392 units.

Entering 2025, Honda immediately heated the competition by launching the New Honda City Hatchback of the CVT Hospital. This latest model comes with an aerokit that emphasizes the impression of sporty and new colors, Electric Lime Metallic, which reflects a dynamic young spirit.

"At the beginning of this year, we were trying to revive the automotive market through model refreshment, attractive sales programs, and quality sales service to meet consumer needs throughout Indonesia," added Yusak Billy.

Honda seems not only complacent with the previous year's achievements, but also continues to innovate to maintain competitiveness in the national four-wheeled market.
