Lamborghini Issues Recall Orders On Two Revuelto Units For Potentially Burning

JAKARTA - Bad news came for Lamborghini owner Revuelto in the United States (US). The Supercar for Aventador's successor was affected by the recall because of the potential for a fire.

Launching from Carscoops, Monday, December 30, this step was taken after the manufacturer conducted an investigation into the Revuelto fire in New York. Lamborghini has examined the charred car carcass and concluded that the source of the fire originated from an oil leak.

The potential oil leak from one of the oil circuit flenses connections from the radiator to the oil tank, said the manufacturer bearing the bull logo, went berserk.

Although this issue is serious enough to deal with, Lamborghini announced the affected vehicles were not in large quantities. Italian brands only report two units that have the potential for the problem.

To overcome this problem, technicians will tighten the oil flensa screws properly, thus blocking the possibility of oil leakage.

Lamborghini also confirmed Revuelto, who will leave the production line this month and beyond, did not experience the problem at all. They said the production process had been updated so as to eliminate the defect.

Previously, a Lamborghini Revuelto model caught fire in New York and was said to have been reworked on its oil circuit before experiencing this unfortunate event. But when that happened, no one confirmed that the screws holding the oil channel to the flensa had been properly tightened.

The car, which is owned by an influencer from the US, Ethan Duran, experienced a severe fire with an odometer reaching 108 miles or 173 km.

When the incident occurred, Duran immediately pulled over after seeing the fire coming out of the back of the supercar. After that, he could only see and document it on his personal Instagram account @ethanduran last October.
