JAKARTA - Hyundai car distributors in Indonesia, PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) marketed the all-new Santa Fe at the end of last October by offering significant refreshers, especially offered with hybrid drivers.

The company said that Santa Fe's all-new entered the segment D market, which is one of the highest vehicle markets in Indonesia.

PT HMID's Chief Marketing Officer, Budi Nur Mukmin, said the SUV buyer came from the upper middle class who also owned the car.

"If the Santa Fe buyer comes from the upper segment, it means that the middle class or buy this car as an additional vehicle and not from the first car buyer," Budi said when interviewed by the media in Bandung, Thursday, December 5.

Furthermore, he added that there are buyers who go all-new Santa Fe as a substitute vehicle but are dominated by consumers who buy it as additional mobility.

"There may be buyers who have Santa Fe as a replacement car, we just don't ask specifically but this is dominated as an additional car," added Budi.

The fifth generation of Hyundai Santa Fe is offered at a price of IDR 699 million and IDR 784.5 million for Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) and Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) types, which are sold for IDR 786.3 million and IDR 869.6 million.
