JAKARTA - Indomobil Group participated in the Electricity Connect 2024 event which took place from 20-22 November 2024 at the Jakarta Convention Center, Senayan.

In the event, the company announced its partnership with PLN Icon Plus by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to support the acceleration of electric vehicles (EV) in Indonesia.

This partnership includes various aspects that support the growth of the EV ecosystem in the country, including the procurement of electric vehicles from the brand held by Indomobil Group to use PLN Icon Plus.

Director of Indomobil Group, Andrew Nasuri said that this collaboration was a concrete step for his party to support the Indonesian government's program, which focuses on reducing carbon emissions and accelerating the transition to environmentally friendly mobility.

"We hope this collaboration can encourage people to believe more and switch to electric vehicles, which will ultimately contribute to reducing carbon emissions," Nasuri said in a statement, Thursday, November 21.

At the Electricity Connect 2024 event, Indomobil Group presented 8 brands featuring 16 display cars, including GAC Aion which presents Hyptec HT with two Premium and Ultra variants and Aion Y Plus, then Citroen with e-C3, Kia with EV6 GT-Line and EV9 GT-Line models.

Then, there was also a model from the Nissan brand that showed off Ariya and Leaf, VW with ID.Buzz, Maxus who brought Mifa 7 and Mifa 9, as well as Photon showing off E-Truckmate and E-View.
