GAIKINDO General Chair, Yohannes Nangoi, revealed that GIIAS Bandung is not only an exhibition event, but also a means to disseminate information about the development of the automotive industry in Indonesia, especially in West Java. In addition, this exhibition aims to provide education to the public and encourage the growth of the national automotive industry.

During the five days of implementation, GIIAS Bandung 2024 recorded the presence of tens of thousands of visitors. This year, GIIAS Bandung presents the highest number of vehicle brands in its organizing history, with a total of 19 motorized vehicle brands. Of the 13 passenger vehicle brands, there are big names such as BYD, Chery, Citroen, Daihatsu, GAC Aion, Honda, KIA, Mazda, MG, Mitsubishi Motors, Suzuki, Toyota, and Wuling. In the commercial vehicle segment, Toyota Commercial also takes part, while from two-wheeled vehicles, there are five brands, namely Alva, Benelli, Keeway, Royal Enfield, and Scomadi.
