JAKARTA - The 2024 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) officially ends on September 1, 2024. The exhibition, which was held at the Grand City Convex, has succeeded in attracting a number of automotive observers in the East Java region.

Meanwhile, the Head of Gaikindo Organizer Rizwan Alamsjah said that GIIAS Surabaya 2024 managed to break the record number of attendances to 35,385 visitors as well as the highest since its implementation after the COVID-19 pandemic.

"The enthusiasm of visitors continues to be maintained from day one until the last day, so that GIIAS Surabaya 2024 managed to break the record for the presence of a total of 35,385 visitors, a very good record in the records of the implementation of GIIAS Surabaya so far," explained Rizwan.

GIIAS Surabaya 2024 presents a total of 34 vehicle brands participating with 20 of them being passenger vehicles, consisting of Audi, BYD, Chery, Citroen, Daihatsu, DFSK, Honda, Hyundai, KIA, Lexus, Mazda, MG, Mitsubishi Motors, Nissan, Seres, Suzuki, Toyota, VinFast, Volkswagen and Wuling.

Then, two of them come from commercial vehicles such as DFSK and Toyota Commercial. Then, there are 12 brands of two-wheeled vehicles such as Alva, Aprilia, Benelli, Keeway, Kupprum, Moto Guzzi, Piaggio, Polytron, Royal Enfield, United E-motor, Vespa and Volta.
