BYD Ensures There Is A New Electric Car Model Again Entering Indonesia This Year

JAKARTA - Electric car manufacturer from China BYD already has various electric car models in Indonesia, most recently there is an MPV stun, namely M6 which is quite well received by Indonesian automotive lovers.

This means that a total of now BYD already has four models in Indonesia, ranging from Dolphin, Atto 3, Seal, and M6. Not satisfied with the four existing models, BYD plans to launch a new model again until the end of the year.

This was revealed by the Head of PR and Government Relations of PT BYD Motor Indonesia Luther Panjaitan. He revealed that for the next model, we are indeed targeting again.

"After the M6, there were more models that were launched," he said, when met in the Tangerang area, Sunday, August 25.

However, the man who is familiarly called Luther said that currently BYD is still focusing first on the M6 model.

"Currently, the focus is on M6 first, if it's for delivery and sales (new model) maybe it's new next year," he added.

When asked which segment he would play, he did not provide a clear answer, it's just that he ensured that BYD would fill all segments of electric cars in Indonesia.

"We all want to fill in (the segment), because we sell pure electric cars and we are well aware that we have to expand to all segments, both premium and entry level," he concluded.

So, it is worth waiting for the presence of a new model from BYD which will enliven the Indonesian electric car market.
