Mercedes-Benz Gives IDR 320 Million Equivalent Discounts For Maybach Car Buyers In The US But There Are Conditions

JAKARTA - Mercedes-Benz presents a breakthrough, which is to provide discounts for buyers who want to give cars from the Maybach ultra-luxury brand in the United States (US).

Launching from Carscoops, Monday, August 12, this brand from Germany presents the Star Loyalty Bonus Program with discounts of up to US$20,000 (Rp319.3 million) for the Mercedes-Maybach model or the largest from the previous US$1,000 to US$5,000 (Rp15.9 million to Rp79.8 million).

However, there are several conditions and conditions that must be met by customers who want to buy super luxury vehicles from this brand.

The condition is that buyers must have built the latest Mercedes model which is due between June 1, 2024, and December 31, 2024. In addition, the new Maybach must be purchased or leased through Mercedes-Benz Financial no later than September 30, 2024.

This is the first discount Maybach has offered since last January, when the GLS SUV model is available for a discounted price of 5,000 US dollars (Rp79.8 million) if purchased with a two-tone paint scheme.

Although a number of models offered have come with a discount of US$20,000 (Rp319.3 million), brands have raised prices for the entire Maybach car line for the 2024 model.

For the S 580 model, it jumped to 4,900 US dollars (Rp78.2 million) to 198,300 US dollars (Rp 3.1 billion). Meanwhile, the highest variant was S 680, up to 5,300 US dollars (Rp 84.6 million) to 222,900 US dollars (Rp 3.5 billion).

Mercedes-Maybach will add to its lineup by introducing a new SL at Monterey Car Week. This sporty but premium model will use the same 4.0 liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine as the current 63 SL.

In addition to the US, the brand has penetrated several markets, one of which is Indonesia. In the country, PT Inchcase Indomobil Distribution Indonesia sells two Mercedes-Maybach models, namely S-Class for IDR 7.1 billion and GLS for IDR 7.3 billion.
