Delivery Of Zeekr X Right Steering Right Will First Be To Thailand, Next To Indonesia?

JAKARTA - An electric car manufacturer from China, namely Zeekr, officially announced that the global shipment for its first right-handed X-trooter model was carried out in Thailand.

Quoting from the Carnewschina page, Monday, August 5, in Thailand Zeekr X is available in two variants priced starting from IDR 1.2 million baths or around IDR 553 million, and 1.3 million baths or around IDR 624 million.

In addition, the car, which has also been introduced in Indonesia, comes in five exterior colors, including Athletes Cloud White, Paris Brown Rice, Hangzhou Green, Sumo Gray, and Berlin Silver Gray.

Previously, the right-leaning Zeekr X officially entered the Thai market last July. Overall, the design is nothing different, only the interior configuration has been localized for the Thai market, including entertainment streaming applications on the vehicle system.

Talking about Zeekr in Indonesia actually officially entered last June, and will launch two models namely Zeekr X and Zeekr 009. The presence of these two models is in line with global strategy.

"This is a global strategy for the right steering wheel, of course there are many countries, such as Thailand, Malaysia and Hong Kong," said Zeekr Head of SEA Region Alex Bao Zhuangfei, to media crews in Jakarta some time ago.

Meanwhile, Zeekr will also conduct a feasibility study related to the assembly industry in Indonesia. This was revealed by the Managing Director of PT Premium Auto Prima JinHong Lin Darwin.

"But currently Zeekr is still focused on introducing brands, and will conduct studies related to assembly," he said.

When the right steering car has started delivery in Thailand, it is possible that Indonesia will become the next country. Given, Zeekr will launch the model this year in Indonesia.
