JAKARTA - Swedish automotive manufacturer Volvo Cars managed to collect global car sales of 57,447 units last July, an increase of 6 percent compared to last year in the same period.
For the environmentally friendly vehicle segments consisting of Electric Vehicle (EV) and Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV), the brand recorded a 49 percent growth compared to last year and contributed 49 percent of total sales last July.
Meanwhile, the EV market made a contribution of up to 25 percent of the total globally last month.

For seven months this year, Volvo managed to collect sales of up to 445,520 units, an increase of 13 percent compared to last year in the same period.
The European region is still the largest market for Volvo by obtaining sales of 28,390 units (up 40 percent) last July. In the January to July period, the bookmaker was up to 222,024 units, an increase of 33 percent.
