JAKARTA - The prestigious GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2024 is not only an arena to showcase various technologies and innovations in the automotive industry, but also plays an important role as an educational platform for the younger generation.

This year, GIIAS through the GIIAS Educare program invited nearly 1,000 students from various schools and universities to visit the event and expand their knowledge of the automotive world.

The presence of students at GIIAS 2024 provides them with the opportunity to see firsthand the latest innovations from leading automotive brands, and understand more deeply about technology, design, and sustainability in the automotive industry.

A total of 13 schools and universities were invited to attend GIIAS Educare on July 24, 2024, including Jakarta's "Veteran" National Development University, Utama Triguna Vocational School, Al Husna Automotive Vocational School, PGRI 11 Serpong Vocational High School, YUPPENTEK 1 Vocational School Tangerang, SMKN 1 Sukabumi City, SMKN 5 Jakarta, SMKN 1 Bekasi City, SMK Global I Bekasi White Lotus School, SMK Catur Global School, Kinderfield Highfield School, and SMKS Karya Bangsa.

GIIAS 2024 also provides various educational activities which include exhibition tours and discussion sessions with GIIAS 2024 participants at the Hino booth, VinFast, Mitsubishi Fuso, Seres, Nissan, Toyota, Honda, Daihatsu, and Mitsubishi Motors to see firsthand their latest automotive technology.

In addition, there was also a casual but full of information discussion session regarding the opportunities of the younger generation in the automotive industry in the country, namely GIIAS Talk. This discussion session carries the theme " Gear Up for Success" with a focus on the younger generation as the main driver of the global economy, as well as strengthening their role in the automotive sector to create a positive impact on the economy and society as a whole.
