TANGERANG - In the 2024 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), PT Sokoindo Automobile officially signed a collaboration (MoU) with PT Exelly Electric Indonesia (Voltron) in the provision of electric vehicle charging stations (EV).

Director of Sales Center of PT Sokoindo Automobile Cing Hok Rifin, said that this collaboration plays an important role in ensuring consumers have a sense of security towards supporting infrastructure for electric vehicles in the country.

"We inaugurate the availability of ultra fast charging with Voltron. This also answers the needs of EV users regarding the availability of SPKLU," said Cing Hok Rimin in his remarks at ICE BSD, Tangerang, Thursday, July 25.

In line with what was said by Cing Hok Rimin, CEO and Founder of PT Exelly Elektrik Indonesia Abdul Rahman Elly said that this was a concrete step in supporting global efforts to achieve the net zero emission target.

"EV users are very unique and have entered the lifestyle, this is evidenced by the many charging services available in cafes, restaurants and rest areas," said Elly.

Through this partnership, the two companies plan to expand the availability of charging stations with a focus on increasing the number of facilities in various areas, making it easier for EV users to find comfortable points in charging their vehicles.

This collaboration also involves joint efforts to educate the wider community about the benefits of electric cars with the growing charging available.

Then, this partnership will connect to advanced charging technology to provide an efficient charging experience through the applications owned by Voltron, so that electric vehicle owners can easily find charging stations.
