Bring WRX Model And Latest Forester At GIIAS 2024, Subaru: Price Unchanged

TANGERANG - In the 2024 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), Subaru announced an increase in its two models, namely Forester and WRX. Both are present as models in 2024 for the Indonesian market.

The sporty-style model WRX is on manual transmission, now comes with an EyeSight system. This feature is useful as a driver's assistant when driving his car on the highway.

"If it's usually only on automatic transmission, now manual connoisseurs can also experience EyeSight," said General Manager Marketing & PR Subaru Indonesia Ismail Ashlan during a media conference session at ICE BSD, Tangerang, Monday, July 22.

Meanwhile, this car has not changed in terms of exterior design. WRX carries the concept of 'Bonder' while perfecting the Subaru philosophy, namely Dynamic x Solid by emphasizing the characteristics of bold but also aggressive who describe pleasure in driving.

WRX also still has a number of equipment such as 18-inch aluminum alloy rims, 2.4-liter direct injection turbo machines, twin dual tail mufflers, and a sport steering wheel wrapped in the skin with the WRX logo inside.

Meanwhile, the Forester model sold by Indonesia has also improved its engine performance. According to the manufacturer, the Air Fuel Ratio (AFR) system has been upgraded to 15 percent and at the same time answers the concerns of the SUV users.

The AFR was repaired to increase its response by 15 percent in the lower rounds. This departs from forester consumer anxiety," explained Ismail.

This fifth generation forester has a number of standard equipment such as 18-inch aluminum alloy rims, leather car steering wheels, premium leather seat, electrical trunk, and 8-inch unit head with 6-peakers. The SUV also maintains a 2.0 liter petrol 4-cylinder engine for the Indonesian market.

Subaru Indonesia juga mengonfirmasi bahwa tidak ada perubahan harga pada model 2024 baik model Forester maupun WRX.

The WRX model is offered in two variants, namely M/T worth IDR 849.5 million and TS worth IDR 949.5 million. Meanwhile, the Forestr is set at IDR 659.5 million. All prices include On The Road DKI Jakarta.
