JAKARTA - Two real estate agents in Santa Cruz, California, USA, experienced a tense and exciting moment when they found the 1963 Ferrari 250 GT Lusso in an abandoned house they were handling. This rare car turns out to be worth $1.6 million or around Rp24 billion.

This abandoned house was once owned by David Downs, a scientist who worked with Lockheed Martin. This house is then sold by its heirs because it needs great improvement.

Dana Bambace and Kimberly Ward, two real estate agents in charge of the house, are tasked with managing a house that is indeed in poor condition even though it is located close to the beach.

The discovery of this rare classic car is one concrete example of the term "barn find," a term that refers to the discovery of a valuable but stored classic car in an abandoned barn that is far from crowded. "This situation makes me stressed - it has responsibility for the house as well as an extraordinary car," said Ward.
