JAKARTA - The Hydroplus Soccer League Surabaya 2026 competition officially ended at the Bogowonto Football Field, Saturday, May 23 with Tigers Football Academy and Arema FC Women sharing the title of champion in two age categories.

Tigers Football Academy successfully became the champion of the U-18 category, while Arema FC Women dominated the U-15 category in the young girls' football coaching event initiated by the Bakti Olahraga Djarum Foundation together with Hydroplus.

Program Director of Hydroplus Soccer League, Teddy Tjahjono, said this competition is an important part of the development of Indonesian women's football because it gives young players the opportunity to get regular flying hours.

"Hydroplus Soccer League is indeed presented as part of the roadmap for the sustainable development of women's football. Their game quality and competitive mentality can be honed as the flight hours on the field increase," said Teddy.

In the U-18 category, Tigers Football Academy secured the title after closing the season with 31 points, ahead of Arema FC Women who collected 28 points.

In the last match, the Tigers Football Academy won convincingly 4-1 over Putri Meta through two goals from Haviva Oktaditya and additional goals from Rara Anindita and Dinda Yosephine Manurung.

Tigers Football Academy U-18 coach, Agustina Indah Mahardika, reminded her students not to be satisfied with the results achieved.

"In the competition, the goal is to win, but the victory is temporary. So don't be satisfied," he said.

Meanwhile, Arema FC Women performed strongly in the U-15 category after collecting 42 points and surpassing Tigers Football Academy which finished in second place with 32 points.

In the decisive match, Arema FC Women won 4-2 through goals from Yekti Ulya Sihamuddakwah, two goals from Kesya Arabela Manisya Nian, and Agustine Kafiar.

Keysa Arabela Manisya Nian's performance was also in the spotlight throughout the tournament. The Arema FC Women's striker was sharp with 42 goals and secured the top scorer title in the U-15 category.

"I got a lot of new knowledge during the training camp. I applied it in this match," said Keysa, who previously attended the Indonesian Women's National Team U-17 training camp in France.

Group Brand Head Hydroplus, Yose Moriza, hopes that this competition will continue to produce potential young players for the future of Indonesian women's football.
