In this event, the Indonesian men's doubles team played the opening match of Group D against Algeria with a final result of a landslide victory 5-0 for the Indonesian team.

"This is a positive start for the Indonesian team. We see this result as the fruit of the hard work of athletes and coaching teams, as well as the consistency of coaching carried out by PBSI with the support of BNI," said Okki in a written statement.

Indonesia's 5-0 victory was confirmed through a solid performance in all categories.
