Super League 2025/2026 results: Arema Vs Malut Sudahi After Sharing Points

JAKARTA - The continuation of the 26th week of the 2025/2026 Super League was enough to make Arema FC end the losing streak even though it was not perfect. Hosting Malut United, this match made both teams have to share points after a draw.

After the hat-trick of consecutive defeats, Arema hosted Malut United at the Kanjuruhan Stadium on Friday, April 3 afternoon WIB. The host team took the lead first from Hansamu Yama, which was answered by Malut United through a 12-pass shot from David da Silva.

With this additional number, Arema FC is perched in 11th place in the Super League standings after collecting 32 points from 26 matches. Meanwhile, Malut United is stuck in fourth place with 46 points, 12 points behind Persib Bandung at the top.

At the start of the match, Arema FC started the game quite well. Singo Edan even scored the first goal in the 26th minute through a shot from Hansamu Yama.

The goal came after Gustavo Franca made a corner kick on the left wing, Hansamu then headed the ball from close range which Angga Saputro could not hold.

But then the score was tied in the 42nd minute. The referee pointed to the white spot towards the Arema FC penalty box following Johan Alfarizi's foul on Igor Inocencio in the middle of the corner kick.

David da Silva stepped forward as the executioner, firing a horizontal shot that nestled in the lower corner of the Arema FC goal. The score then changed to 1-1.

Before the break, Alfarizi almost returned Arema's leadership. However, his header when welcoming the corner from the right wing hit the Malut United goalpost.

Both teams attacked each other to produce additional goals after halftime. Malut United several times created golden opportunities but failed to add goals.

In injury time, Julian Guevara made a crucial sweep to stop Ciro's penetration inside the Arema penalty box. The throw into Malut United was easily broken and kept the game going until the end of the half.
