Italian League results: Napoli beat Lecce 2-1, Juventus beat Udinese 1-0

JAKARTA - Napoli and Juventus both won the 29th week of the Italian League on Sunday morning WIB. If Napoli turned to win 2-1 against Lecce 2-1, then Juventus won a narrow 1-0 over Udinese.

Napoli hosted Lecce at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, Naples. The visiting team surprised the hosts with a quick goal in the 3rd minute. Jamil Siebert scored a goal after a corner kick from Antonino Gallo.

Lecce continued to pose a threat through dead ball situations. In the 16th minute, Tiago Gabriel's header bounced over the Napoli goal line. Nikola Stulic also tested goalkeeper Alex Meret, but his shot was saved.

Napoli responded through Matteo Politano's chance who fired hard from the edge of the box, but the ball just went wide of the goal.

In the second half, Napoli immediately appeared aggressive and managed to equalize the score less than a minute after kick-off.

Lecce's loss of the ball in the midfield was used by Billy Gilmour to send a pass to Politano on the right side. Politano then sent the ball to the front of the goal which was completed by Rasmus Hojlund to score.

Napoli turned ahead 2-1 in the 67th minute. Starting from a corner kick, the ball was deflected towards Politano at the far post. The Italian winger immediately snatched the ball with a close-range volley.

Napoli still had a few extra chances from Kevin De Bruyne and Alisson Santos, but there were no additional goals until the end of the game.

This victory keeps Napoli strong in third place with 59 points, while Lecce is stuck in 16th place with 27 points.

In another match, Juventus won a narrow 1-0 at home to Udinese at the Bluenergy Stadium.

Juventus dominated from the start of the match, but the Bianconeri's winning goal only came in the 38th minute.

Kenan Yildiz made a penetration into the penalty box before passing the ball to Jeremie Boga to give Juventus the lead.

In the second half, Luciano Spalletti's team continued to control the match and tried to increase the lead.

This victory brings Juventus up to fourth place in the standings with 53 points.
