SEA Games 2025: Indonesian Women's Tennis To Final

JAKARTA The Indonesian women's team tennis team managed to win a landslide against Malaysia to secure the ticket to the 2025 Thailand SEA Games final.

The brilliant performance of Janice Tjen and colleagues made Indonesia win 3-0 without giving the opponent a chance to continue his journey to the final round on Friday, December 12, 2025.

Priska Madelyn Nugroho opened Indonesia's hopes in the clashes. He appeared confident against Elsa Wan.

Priska, who is 22 years old, did not encounter many obstacles at all. He immediately controlled the game and won two straight sets with a score of 6-2 and 6-1.

Next is Janice Tjen's turn to take the opportunity to go to the field to face Shihomi Leong. The Jakarta-born tennis player appeared aggressive from the start and immediately locked up a convincing 6-2 and 6-1 victory.

Indonesia's certainty to the final was then determined by the women's doubles pair Aldila Sutjiadi/Meydiana Reinnamah. They face the Malaysian duo, Hardinia Hazli/Hannahi.

Aldila/Meydiana continued to appear calm even though they had been under pressure. Their almost perfect performance managed to close the match with the final score 6-2 and 6-4.

In the final round, Indonesia will certainly meet Thailand. The host's women's team reached the final round of the biennial event after defeating the Philippines with a landslide score of 3-0.
