Mohamed Salah Not Played For The First Time, But Still Very Important For Liverpool

JAKARTA - Arne Slot insists that Mohamed Salah is still very important to Liverpool even though he did not play the star forward in the win against West Ham United on Sunday, November 30, 2025.

Salah was reserved for the first time under Slot's direction in the Premier League. Alexander Isak's goals and Cody Gakpo gave Liverpool a much-needed victory.

Salah was backed up amidst the club and players' poor form. Liverpool have lost six of their seven league games before the meeting against West Ham and the Egyptian has scored just four goals so far this season.

Florian Wirtz returned to play after missing two games due to injury. Meanwhile, Arne Slot is reshuffling his line-up.
