The U-23 Indonesian National Team Canceled Against Singapore At The 2025 SEA Games After The Opponent Moved To Group A

JAKARTA - The U-23 Indonesian national team canceled their face with Singapore in the 2025 SEA Games group phase agenda. This is because Singapore chose to move to Group A.

However, a week before the tournament took place, Cambodia in Group A withdrew for security reasons. Thailand as the host then proposed moving Singapore in Pot 4 and it was finally approved.

Quoted from the Bangkok Post, with this transfer, Thailand will face Singapore in the second match of the group phase. Meanwhile, in the first match, Thailand met Timor Leste.

Singapore's move also made changes to the match schedule, where the Indonesia vs Singapore agenda, which originally took place on December 5, 2025, became empty.

Group C only competed in Myanmar vs Philippines matches on that day. Indonesia only competed on December 8, 2025 when they met the Philippines and fought Myanmar on December 12, 2025.

In this edition, the U-23 Indonesian national team carried the mission to win a gold medal with the capital status of the defending champion from the previous edition.
