Jake Paul Is Considered To Have Made A Wrong Decision Against Anthony Joshua

JAKARTA Boxer from the United States, Ryan Garcia, is not very sure everything will end sweetly for Jake Paul in his next boxing bout against Anthony Joshua, a former integrated heavyweight world champion twice.

Paul and Joshua finally agreed to get into the ring even though it was initially considered impossible for the duel to materialize. Paul, who did not have time to fly in the heavyweight class, was judged to have taken the wrong step with this decision.

"To be honest, I think this is a wrong move from Jake (Paul). He too eager to keep his partners on Netflix happy and he will suffer the consequences," Garcia said.

The fight between Paul and Joshua is scheduled to take place on December 19, 2025 at the Kaseya Center, Miami, United States. Their clashes are professional eight rounds, each of which is three minutes long.

This will be Paul's 11th professional fight, while for Joshua it will be his 29th professional fight in his career. This clash is Paul's biggest test in the boxing ring.

Garcia said that if Paul suffered a knockout defeat (KO) in the fight it would have had a bad impact on his career.

"For example, he lost to Anthony Joshua, then where did he go? Who will he fight next? This fight can change life in many ways, both physically and mentally," said the 27-year-old fighter.

Paul, who was previously a YouTube star, has never fought a heavyweight fighter like Joshua so far. In addition, he also has a much smaller physique than Joshua.

On the other hand, Joshua is a gold medalist at the 2012 London Olympics and rich in experience in the heavyweight. He last lost against Daniel Dubois last year, but surely seeded against Paul.
