Hanif Sjahbandi In Recovery, Predicted To Return To Persija In The Next 4 Weeks

JAKARTA - Persija Jakarta midfielder, Hanif Sjahbandi, is in a better condition in a recovery situation. He is predicted to be able to rejoin the Kemayoran Tiger squad in the next four weeks.

Hanif is known to be absent from defending the team because he has a bone spur on his front leg. This situation is a bone disorder that grows in an inappropriate place that has the potential to disrupt the movement and restrain the player's pace.

This situation had forced the 28-year-old player to be sentenced to be sidelined for three to four months even though he had undergone surgery and is now in the recovery stage.

The player's latest news was conveyed by Muhammad Andeansah as a doctor for the Persija Jakarta team. He said that currently Hanif had undergone optimal treatment.

Andeansah explained that now Hanif is entering the initial recovery phase which includes gradual reduction in inflammation and return of joint mobility.

With the current situation, he is predicted to return to the team in the next four weeks.

"Hanif is expected to be able to return to full activities in the next 3-4 weeks," said Andeansah explaining.

Andeansah believes Hanif Sjahbandi can recover on time according to the medical team's expectations.

"After that, Hanif can again make an important contribution to Persija in the continuation of the competition," said Andeansah.

It is predicted that he will return to the squad in the next four weeks, meaning that Hanif was forced to miss the important match against PSIM Yogyakarta in Jakarta on November 28, 2025.

The match was held to coincide with Persija's 97th anniversary as well as the moment to return home, Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, after a long time as a team of tourists.
