Kemenpora Signs Memorandum Of Understanding With The Attorney General's Office

The Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) officially signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Attorney General's Office (Kejagung) of the Republic of Indonesia.

The signing of the cooperation between Menpora Erick Thohir and Indonesian Attorney General Sanitiar Burhanudin took place at Wisma Kemenpora, Senayan, Jakarta, on Monday, November 24, 2025.

Erick said that this collaboration aims to provide supervision of several strategic ministry programs that he leads so that they can avoid unwanted things.

"Earlier I said that some of the strategic programs that are being carried out by us should be maintained, supervised, and guided. I conveyed many benchmarks," said Erick.

The benchmarks of the differences and preparation of each sport (sports) in facing various international events, including one of the focuses in this collaboration.

Erick said that in addition to the development plan for sports academies and training centers, a preparation program for the future of national sports is getting better in the future.

"He wants to be here because he cares. He cares about the development of Indonesian carekter in the future, starting youth and caring about sports, we can consistently fly the Red and White bandera and become the nation's ambassador," he said.

This collaboration will control policy makers in carrying out responsibilities according to applicable procedures, especially programs that require Government funding.

Sanitiar said that his party had an obligation to supervise and prevent unwanted things from happening at the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

"The main things, youth and sports are our shared responsibility. Don't let things happen that we don't want. It's not that we suspect anything has happened here, but about caution," he said.
