JAKARTA The Asian Olympic Council (OCA) officially included the padel as a sport (sports) which was contested at the 2026 Asian Games at AichiNagoya, Japan.

The decision was announced after the President of the International PAdel Federation (FIP), Luigi Carraro, met with the Director-General of OCA, Husain Al Musallam, in Kuwait last week.

"We are very pleased to officially welcome the International PAdel Federation and the Asian Padel as part of the family of the Asian Olympic Council," Husain said.
