Muaythai Indonesia Failed In The Quarter-Finals Of ISG 2025

JAKARTA The muaythai Indonesia team's journey in the 2025 Islamic Solidarity Games (ISG) event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, stopped in the quarter-finals.

Muaythai's total sports (sports) fielded three athletes, consisting of Ardiansyah, Antonia Bui Ola, and Angelina Runtuahu. They all performed well at The Promenade Sports Boulevard.

In the men's 70'75 kg class sector, Ardiansyah started his work with a walkover (WO) victory over Malaysian athlete Ammarul Shafiq bin Ubaidillah, in the round of 16.

Ardiansyah's journey was then stopped after a narrow loss of 2730 against Mohammed Yousuf Jangginir from Afghanistan in the race for tickets to the semifinals.

"In terms of technique, there are still shortcomings so that it will be my evaluation material in the future. Physically, it is quite good, but I need to improve technique and match hours for the next event," said Adriansyah.

Meanwhile, Antonia Bui Ola, who fell in the women's 55's 60 kg class and immediately stepped into the quarter-finals, ended her struggle after losing to Saudi Arabia's fighter, Soha Alfar, with a thin score of 28-29.
