Super League Results 2025/2026: Winning 2-1 From Persik, PSIM Upgrading

JAKARTA - PSIM Yogyakarta managed to get full points when they hosted Persik Kediri in the 11th week of the 2025/2026 Super League. Three points from the 2-1 victory brought Laskar Mataram up to second in the standings.

The meeting of PSIM Yogyakarta and Persik Kediri took place at the Sultan Agung Stadium, Bantul, on Friday, October 31, 2025, afternoon WIB. The match was tight because until the end of the first half the score lasted 0-0 for both teams.

Only in the second half, the deadlock broke first for PSIM. The hosts opened the score 1-0 in the 49th minute through the execution of Nemin Haljeta after receiving a through ball from Ezequiel Vidal.

Persik almost equalized in the 50th minute. However, Ezra Walian's long-range shot slid slightly over the PSIM goal.

Three minutes later, PSIM broke into Persik's goal through Ezequiel Vidal's goal in a dead ball situation. However, the linesman raised the offside flag.

In the 59th minute, Persik was forced to play with 10 players. Henhen Herdiana was sent off by the referee after pulling Anton Olivier in the forbidden box which then also resulted in PSIM being awarded a penalty.

Ze Valente stepped forward as PSIM penalty taker where his shot went into the lower corner of Persik's goal and brought Laskar Mataram away 2-0.

Persik narrowed the gap in the 62nd minute through Ezra Walian after the player snatched into Mohammad Khanafi's pass in the penalty box.

The visitors almost equalized before normal time ran out. However, Imanol Garcia's close-range attempt was blocked out by PSIM goalkeeper Cahya Supriadi.

This score will continue until the end of time. PSIM's 2-1 victory brought them up to second place in the Super League standings with 18 points. Meanwhile, Persik is stuck in 11th place with 11 points.
