JAKARTA Nine-time world champion Marc Marquez has been ruled out of the rest of the 2025 MotoGP season to continue his injury recovery.
This assurance was conveyed by Ducati Lonovo Team in their latest statement. Marquez's injury recovery is actually going well, but he cannot compete in the remaining three series.
"Largen Marquez did not move for four weeks before starting rehabilitation so it was impossible to think about him returning to racing in this year's calendar," Ducati wrote in their official statement.
The racer nicknamed Baby Alien suffered a shoulder injury after an accident in the 2025 Mandalika MotoGP race earlier this month.
